SCL manufactures standard and profile channels for forehearths in SCL-15, SCL-33 and SCL-90 qualities. SCL offers full range of channels from 16” to 54”.
Bonded channels are preferred over fused AZS channels due to their better insulating property. Also, they prevent glass from getting too cold on the side, hence improving thermal efficiency of the forehearths. Bonded Channels also have high thermal shock resistance and low bubbling potential.
